‘The Goddess Lounge’ is an online storytelling programme featuring international performers, environmentalists, authors, and non-binary artists.
Since the Neolithic, Goddesses have been inter-sex, international and inspirational. The Goddess Lounge’ mashes up myth, film, live performance, and debate and features performers from around the globe.

Strong Bedouin women, the Mother of the Desert and Pearl Daughters feature in this Goddess Lounge celebrating the storytelling legacy of the UAE. Funded by the British Council with support from SeahavenFM.
It takes years of layering, nacre upon nacre, to create a pearl; and generation upon generation, to craft a traditional story. An evolving project, Pearls, Plants and People is a bridge building exercise creating links between the hidden treasures of UAE heritage and Western culture.
